we done the Brazil cruise last year it was great. We shared a taxi to see the sites it was cheaper. The taxi driver took us to Sugar loaf mountain and Christ Reedemer in the same day and waited for us to finish exploring then took us back to the hotel, we had a fantastic time. We also did some shopping in Rio as out suitcases got lost and we found it OK to walk around without hassle. Just common sence really as everywere else, watch your bags as there is a lot of pick pockets out there, but dont let it spoil your hols because they a lovely people. Cafe and bars are graet for people watching. Have a nice time
