drinks package

going on the island escape at the begining of august. drinks package�129 per aduilt is this a good deal. we dont drink alcoholic drinks in the day but at night like wine with our meals and some drimks after. any advice helpfull. thanks

A can of coke is usually �1. Wine on AI is served by the glass probably around �2 too.
Beer is normally around �2-3 and cocktails anywhere between �2-5.

For some it works out, but for others it doesnt. For a price comparison, Thomsons charge �150 for AI upgrade.

If you think of �18 per day, would you drink that much? few cans of coke during the day at �1.35 and maybe bottle of wine �10 then not worth it. if on the other hand you like a few drinks then go for it. Personally I only drink soft drinks so would never get value from a drinks package. Also if you are going to do excursions, or get off the ship during the day then you may be buying your own soft drinks onshore anyway.
Drinks are regular pub prices with special cocktails of the day non alcoholic were around �1.50 and others around �2.50. Beer around �2.50 per pint.

We are just back from 2 weeks on the Island Escape. We also had the AI. In the first week drank 169 quid, and in the 2 week we drank 172 quid.Thats only on alcohol. We usually had a couple of drinks at lunch time ( beer and wine) and roughly about 7 or 8 drinks between us in the evening. A pint of Stella is 2.65, and a glass of wine was 2.40. we didn't drink any spirits so I don't know how much hey would have cost.
