| Hi went on Island Star last summer, kids club used by mainly under 8's with set times and structured group time. My 5 and 6 year old didn't enjoy it and gave up on it after a few days because it was mainly performance based activities like Talent Night practice for the last 3 days. Most of time it was only open for 4 hours per day and when it did open was under utilised, as most kids wanted to "play" rather than "perform" In some cases we turned up 1/2 way through the time and it had closed due to under use.
Card / Games room was turned into a "space" for "teens" to hang out in, it was unsupervised and they were left to do their own thing, which often lead to confronation with other passengers who used the library during the evening, which in turn lead to to them hang around the ship together in various other places to escape the whinging pensioners, which lead to the cry from the moaners of unruly teenages (which they weren't, 99% of all kids were extremely well behaved - people have got to have something to moan about!)
