currency for Jamaica

Hi can anyone tell me what is the best cuurency to take to Jamaica.
Is there access to visa machines?

The currency for jamaica is Jamaican Dollar or us dollar.

There are banks which are open until 4pm then tend to be in montego bay. Depending on where you are staying the hotel may have a machine.
Most hotels do accept credit cards as payment but always get a recipt.

you get more for your money if you convert to jamaican dollars they give the best rate if you change it once there us dollars are widely accepted also and there are cash machines all over the place
