You get a good standard of legroom in economy with FC

Personally I always do it as you do get a bit more..but i drink like a fish so my spends are always leaving my pocket which is another reason why i upgrade.

Lets compare between star class and star class premier

Star Class

Comfort

Fantastic 33 legroom*
Wider seats
Leather seats for improved comfort
Complimentary pampering pack

Entertainment

7 widescreen seat back TV
10 movies (5 outbound, 5 inbound) and
30 TV programmes
12 audio channels
6 interactive games

Service

Friendly Star Class crew
Delicious 4 course meal with a choice from two main meals

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Star Class Premier
Comfort

Amazing 36 legroom*
Wider seats
Adjustable air-filled leather seats with winged head support
Complimentary pampering pack
Mood cabin lighting

Entertainment

9 widescreen seat back TV
Entertainment on demand - ability to stop, start and rewind programmes
16 movies (8 outbound, 8 inbound) and 30 TV programmes
12 audio channels
10 interactive games including Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Complimentary noise-reduction headphones

Service

Dedicated Star Class Premier crew
Priority check-in and boarding
Sparkling cocktail before take-off
Delicious 4 course meal with a choice from three main meals
Complimentary snack before landing
Complimentary drinks from the bar throughout your flight
Free Sanford Airport VIP Lounge pass for customers travelling to Florida
Fast Track Security at Nottingham East Midlands

It speaks for itself....but yes i recommend it as they have the best long haul product out of the charters for the price. If your going to do it...do it in style :)

Flown in both First Choice classes and can say that I wouldn't bother with the upgrade. Economy is very comfortable and on one of our flights they were packed in like sardines up the front while we had a row of seats each to ourselves in the back. We got the same TV package as the system was broken and because they had too much of the upper class food we were given the same. Even under normal conditions First Choice economy knocks spots off other charter flights.

Hi

thanks to all for the reply i do think 280 is a bit steep especially when it is through the night and there is only so much alcohol you can drink
