| Hi! Iv been to Kardamena and I think that it is about 20 degrees in May! I also think that May is the reccommended time to go as it is not too hot! We went in July and I burnt on the beach at 6pm, and Im not a burner!!! There is no rain whatsoever in June and July so I think you will be alright! If you want to know good restaurants and bars etc just post!!!

| Hiya,
I used to work and live in the resort of Kardamena, I am now a travel agent,
The resort is lovely, it can be as lively or as quiet as you like,
There is a Bar Street there also are plenty of bars along the waterfront
which can be quieter should you prefer that.
Lots of great restuarants for eating, from very cheap to expensive depending on what you like.
In may is its around 70/75 degrees, you may need a light jacket for the evenings, as your body has been warmed up during the day so you can feel a chill sometimes at night. I have also been there when its been warmer and no jacket it needed in the evenings.

| Hi how s it going? I read your review and am thinking of going to Kos and staying there next year but unsure Kardemena will be as good as other places ive been. Could you enlighten me please maybe you can tell how it compares with other lively resorts you have stayed at, many thanx

| The weather can be quite hot in Greece at the End of May beginning of June.
I know this because I go on holiday at this time every year as it is school hols.
We find Greece to be a lot hotter than spain,france and the canaries at this time of year.
Generally I would say it was usually between 26 to 35 depending on where you go.
You should take a jacket in the evenings though especially if your hotel is near the sea. Its not cold it just feels cold when the sun goes in as it has been hot in the day and sometimes the sea breezes make it feel colder too.

| We went the last week of May/First week of June. The first week was ok but it got hotter by the second week. The nights were cool on the first week but got really warm on the second week. There are some lovely Tavernas for eating, from breakfasts to evening meals.

Unfortunatley I have not visited Kardemena but have visitied quite a few places in Greece.
Sorry cant help you on this one.
Maybe you should post a new subject titled feed back on kardamena then when people scroll down the forum subject list they will see kardamena and hopefully respond.
