late outbound flight

Hi , we are going to kos on the 13th Aug and arrive early on the 14th, however our return flight is at 3.50am!!! and ideas if we could hire a room so we are not carting our bags around all day? and plus get a shower. we want to squeeze every last minute out of our holiday!

If you are staying in a hotel/apartments why dont you email them in advance if you can have your room an extra night or until midnight at least that way you dont have to vacate your room at dinnertime the day before your flight.

We stayed in Kardamena, Kos. our hotel couldn't accomodate us for the late flight home. But there were several apartments close by, and we managed to get one for one night at 15 Euros. The coach picked us up at 1am and we posted the key through the door.
You'll get a room easilly.

Just dont leave it until the last minute , try and arrange it when you arrive if possible.

we were in the same boat and hired a room for the day at some apartments for 20 euros

Sometimes this is a complete nightmare. Most of the time my flights to Kos have been out in the middle of the night, back at the middle of the night. If you make friends with people when you are over there that are coming back later than you - it may be possible to use their shower etc. (I've done this in the past). Luckily I got a lateish deal two weeks ago and the flights are amazing - 11 a.m. outbound and return land at 22.00, with no supplement, just the wonders of Kos airport during daylight hours. Can't wait to go back - its been five years since I went there last.
