| Hi anyone
Me and the other half to kos for the first time this year staying at Kefalos in the athinoula hotel done the greek isles for the last 10 years.Any body stayed in this resort or any advice on places to go ,best beaches ,best trips ,nightlife ,restaurants,.

| Hi, I have been to Zac's hotel for 5 years running, the last couple of times have booked direct with Zac once got my flight. Spotless hotel, once you get to know the family they are bril, its a familiy run hotel, quiet hotel, 3 minutes walk to beach, 20 minutes steady walk to the harbour - where all bars and eating places. Must do the trip to Turkey - if you love spending mondey on bags shoes and leather coats.
Night life a bit quiet near the hotel - just go to the harbour. Rainbow is good eating, mind you most of them are around that area. Worth a trip into Kos town, and also go up to Kefalos village that also is a must, thats where the people live in the winter when the resort has closed down.
The beach I use is across the road called Rock Garden - its owned by John half Aussie half Greek, If you have a meal in his place you get to use his sunbeds for free.

| Hi Pat, thank's for your reply, just a couple of questions, firstly is there a scooter hire place in or around Kefalos as we normally use one on the Greek Islands. And last question we've been told the sea water in that area is quite chilly, is that correct? Oh and lastly thank's for the advice on the Turkey trip, will take you up on that, but any other trips you could recommend would be an advantage.
