Hi just thought I would put forward the Cameron House hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond as a brilliant place to have a quiet relaxing 1 or 2 night break in beautiful surroundings and fantastic food and drink
The staff are all very friendly and willing to help and can vouch for the massage and beauty treatments on offer as the wife has never looked better
The 9 hole golf course is also worth a try and the swimming pool area is top notch
You can eat at the Marina or in any of the two restaurants in the hotel ,but wherever you go the farebefits a 5* hotel
Sunday night specials cost from 49pp for bed and full Scottish breakfast(like full english but more of it and better)
You even get a wee decanter of Drambuie and shortbread sitting next to your bed for a wee nightcap before retiring for the night
Great value for money in a beautiful region of Scotland

My husband & i went to Cameron house for a night only special offer of 50 a night for 2 people with Superbreaks, which we booked through our travel agent & flew from Gatwick. The airport was about 30 mins away & not having a car the cab was about 30, however it was very posh, the scenery was lovely white mountains & the deep blue lake of Lock Lomand in the grounds. We walked along the lake for 30 mins also & came to the Lock Lomand experiance, which was interesting & a few shops & Mc Donalds near by.
The hotels room was luxurious with pleasent bathroom. The swimming pool was really nice and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful, lovely food & views overlooking the lake. It was a very nice, rememberal experiance, only it's not advisable going in your trainers like my hubby did !!!:icon_grrs
