| Hi, I'm thinking of a holiday in Tenerife for ten days or so in mid/late November. I feel reassured that it won't be too wet or cold having read other replies on the Forum, but can someone please tell me if the cable car to the top of the highest mountain is open during November/December. Does anyone have any idea roughly how much this costs.
Thanks in advance for any help given.

My Profile
| Hello.
From what ive found it doesnt have any dates for it not to be operating, however on one site it did say 'weather permitting'.
Please find below extracts from www.whattenerife.com/mount-teide
Operating Hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm (descents until 5:00pm)
Prices:
-Adults: Residents 11€, Non-residents 22€
-Children (under 14 yrs) Residents 7€, Non-residents 11€
-One-way: Residents 7€, Non-Residents 11€
Prices may have changed as im not sure how often that website is updated but my guess is it will be pretty much correct. Still, allow 20-25 euros per adult.

| Thank you so much for your help. I really do appreciate your help and will take a look at the website you searched for other info on Tenerife in general.
Sounds as if it will be open all year and I certainly wouldn't want to go up in windy weather, so I'm quite glad it doesn't operate in bad weather.
Quite a bargain...much on a par with the little train up Snowdon!
Thanks again. Best wishes.
