| Hi guys,
In a few days, I will be going on a holiday spree to Madrid in Spain. I have to stay there for a couple of days. I am looking for an online resource where I can compare all Madrid hotels according to my necessity. Does anyone have any idea that can help me out? Your any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

| Hi kerby121,
I had visited Madrid last year for the same purpose. At that time my friend had suggested me a website for European countries called www.sletoh.com .It's really a very good online resource. It will help you to compare hotel prices and rates in an instant. You can find hotels according to your budget and requirements. Hope this will work out for you.
Happy journey in advance!

| Madrid is expensive compared to many other Spanish cities and many hotels are geared towards business travellers. However Madrid scores a 10/10 for being friendly and very 'walkable'. You will not want to spend much time in your hotels as there is so much to see.
For a comfortable, reasonable and fabulously central hotel, try the Hotel Europa in Calle Carmen, right on the Puerta del Sol. Rooms are well sized and very clean and the bathroom are well fitted out. The bar and cafeteria are OK but walk five minutes in any direction and you will find bars and restaurants.
The Royal Palace is about 10 minutes walk in one direction and all the art galleries , about a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Get a map at reception and soak up some atmosphere whilst walking through the city.
Don't we tempted by the chains and boutique hotels where even discounted, tou will pay at least 50% more. Save the money and spend it on a good meal and some great wine.

| Yea, Susana is right in saying that Madrid is expensive compared to many other Spanish cities and many hotels are geared towards business travellers. However, Id say that its worth paying that little bit more to check out Madrid, it relly has so much on offer! I was there just in june for a really good holiday, one of the best ones ive ever been on! Anyway before I went I did some research into the history of Madrid, check out this site for a pretty nifty summary... http://www.gomadrid.com/history/madrid-history.html Well worth a look if yuo're interested in history. Me and my partner sure are! Anyway we were renting an apartment in madrid centre with holistay, their site is http://www.holistay.com/spain/ Would reccommend these guys!
The problem with internet comparison sites is that they often add a bit of money on top of the charge for themselves, so its not always honest. Nevertheless, try keloo.co.uk for a good price!
Hope that helps, anymore quesions? x
