| Just a quick one for anyone out there who's either thinking about a holiday in Magaluf or Palma Nova this summer or thinking about working out there.
I worked there last summer from May till Sept and had such a cracking time I'm going back this year to work again, if anyone wants any information just let me know as I know the place better than Michael Jackson knows his face! ;)

| Im well into my 60s and still go to Magaluf every year in September, its a fab place and we get treated so well, and the young ones are great with us, cant see what all the fuss is about when they say its only for lager louts, its for people of any age who just want to have a really good enjoyable holiday with lots of fun and laughter, Viva Magaluf,

| Totally agree with ya there, I saw a diverse range of age groups out there and everyone was having a fantastic time, predominantly youngsters out there for obvious reasons but all my worker buddies were very accomodating and treat everyone the same to help make their holiday as great as poss! :occasion1

| Hi babe,
Im going out on the 6th June again, last year we went out mid May and basically depending on what work your after (Bar/PR) you just go round every bar on the strip asking if they need anyone. You'll easily get a PR job as they recruit for them everynite to keep the current PR's on their toes! Bar work is slightly harder to get but once again just ask about and you'll get a job in no time. Expect to be paid about 45 euros a nite which is pretty standard but easily pays your rent and food and you'll still have a fair bit left at the end of the week for luxuries (soap lol). Accommodation is once again down to you asking about cos theres always people looking for flatmates, its obviously easier to find a place if you go out earlier and then you'll be able to stay with your buddies. Im working back at The Office and Bonkers this year so pop in and say hi and i'll point ya in the right direction :D
Good luck
Ian

My friend and me are desperate to work in magaluf this coming summer, but we're a bit unsure about how to go about getting bar work and sorting out somewhere to stay. We quite fancy going from june to the end of september. is it too late to go out in june to get work? If you can give us any advice that would be fabby. Cheers!

| Hi to all the people who i havent got back to yet! been a busy noy so i apologise for the delay!
Basically anyone wanting to work out there, its best to go out earlier rather than later. I normally go out about May/June till sept but a lot of my mates go out in March! Best thing to do is book cheap flights with easyjet/Flybe etc and then book a weeks accomodation so you have time to get a job and sort out some accomodation for the summer. Look at the Magaluf page on this site and you should find some nice hotels which you can book into using the link provided.

Then just ask about in every bar and you'll definitely find work no worries
Ian
