Hiya,
We are planning to go to the Maldives for our honeymoon on 10th August 2008 for 4days and we want to stay somewhere that is private and peaceful. Makunudo, Fihalhohi or Komandoo are all look fab but I am not sure which one would be ideal for our honeymoon. Please advice if you have experience with these resorts!
Thanks
Thaulina

Maldives honeymoon...Makunudo, Fihalhohi or Komandoo
Hi Thaulina
I went to Fihalhohi in February 08.
It was totally amazing. There were lots of places where you could find a nice quiet place and relax - or you could be with other people if you wanted.
The snorkelling is amazing. We couldn't stay out of the water!.
We had a comfort room which was nice and was kept clean. the towels were changed daily.
You get two sunbeds which are numbered the same as your room which means no early mornings or hunting for one during the day.
The food was okay. We always found something to eat - our only problem is that we are not fish lovers - there were plenty of salads and the soup was always brilliant. you shouldn't get stuck to find anything.
Let the island know you are on honeymoon it's always worth it.
I would definately reccomend Fihalhohi and plan to back later this year.
I hope this helps.
