Summer Island Village

We are due to visit Summer Island Village in June. We have been to the maldives many times, but wondered if anyone has stayed here and can recommend it?

Hi, just got back from Summer Island last week, had an amazing time. It's quiet, laid back, food is excellent, people are lovely. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday this is for you, if you want karaoke etc maybe a larger island would suit you better. I would definitely go back. Tess

Could anyone give me advice on accomodation on summer island we are going in july for 2 weeks we have a beach villa but ive heard that the water bungalows are much better, can anyone recommend them and how much does it cost to upgrade for the 2 weeks thanks.

I went in Dec 2007, and personally preferred the beach bungalows. I think the water villas have a fridge though, and a glass bit i the floor to see the fish.
