Planning on the maldives for our honeymoon. We both want an AL island with water villas and the Vilu Reef Beach and Spa Resort seems to match what we want. I have spent hours reading reviews about loads of resorts and I am still not sure if this is the best one. I have read about poor food and service at AL resorts and I don't want to spend all that money and be disappointed! Can anyone give me any more information on Vilu, or even suggest where else I could try.
Thanks

Hi,
one of our top rated accommodations in the Maldives is the Hakuraa Club which is AI and over water villas.

Where to Honeymoon?
Hi Becki
Take a look at Komandoo - it is all inclusive - the food is lovely and the water villas are a reasonable price. No kids either under 12 - perfect for your honeymoon!

Where to Honeymoon?
We are going to the Hakuraa Club for our honeymoon, we originally booked Meedhupparu but after reading bad reviews we changed.
Hakuraa rooms are Water Villas as standard
We Paid 2800 for both of us for 15 nights.
I hope this helps you

meeru resort is not too good as its owned by a member of the bad regime of the maldives and is on the friends of the maldives boycot list.
