| Mallorca is a great place to holiday. It has something for everyone. Very diverse scenery, from long, safe sandy beaches to fantastic mountains, and lovely towns and villages. Some street markets are fab.
Two things to watch out for. Firstly, some people, especially kids, may find the big "Lookie Lookie " men a bit intimidating.
Secondly, Street touts (especially in Palma to Santa Ponsa areas). These touts, in every shape and form, are at the Scratch Card Scam. "Youve won a free holiday". Free taxi to office in Palma to collect prize. NO, free taxi to Palma to be subjected to hours of brain washing in order to get you to part with a lot of cash to join a dubious holidayclub. Do not speak to these touts however convincing they may seem. If caught, only pay small deposit with CREDIT CARD, NOT any other form of payment.
