kathhy,
never stayed there. If not mistaken, this is a small hotel in Sliema. Very busy area. Am a regular visitor to Malta, exactly to the island of Gozo and will not change Gozo to any other destination. We really like the place. If you need any info/suggestions, kindly ask me.

i stayed in the hotel roma in nov 08 1 was in the front room just above the roma hotel sign on the front this is a basic hotel with a steep climb up stairs to the first floor reception not much fun lugging your case up there as when you find out there is a lift in the downstairs cafe but if you dont know !!! this is one of only a few that provide free fridges and tv and there are a couple of british programs via satalite being on the second floor was noisey as the drunks come back in early in the morning and the front door slams shut and then you hear them climbing the stairs which echo this hotel is ok for cheap and cheerfull hard to spot if you dont know where it is as it is up a little side street and it looks like a cafe not a hotel.room was clean if you dont ask you dont get any discount in the restarant underneath even tho they know you stop there..did a good full english breakfast but they have stopped that now so go down to the strand where there are a couple of good places
