| Hi,
My friends and I are considering visiting Malta later in the year. Our only concern is the exchange rate. What I would like to know is how much the average cost of meals/drinks/days out etc
Big Thanks!

| Whatever you wish to pay. There are restaurants that run from expensive to ones where you can eat cheaply. We have just returned from Sliema and paid approx €28 for an main course sized plate of excellent pasta with a bottle of wine and desert, but it varies.
A typical dish of excellent fresh fish (in our case we had swordfish steak) was €24. A decent local beer cost around €2 a pint. I understand restarant were even cheaper the further north on the island you visited.
Hope this helps.
Andy

| Sorry. Swordfish main course was €14 (£11 ish) and was very fresh and large.
