How much does it cost?

Hi,

My friends and I are considering visiting Malta later in the year. Our only concern is the exchange rate. What I would like to know is how much the average cost of meals/drinks/days out etc

Whatever you wish to pay. There are restaurants that run from expensive to ones where you can eat cheaply. We have just returned from Sliema and paid approx �28 for an main course sized plate of excellent pasta with a bottle of wine and desert, but it varies.
A typical dish of excellent fresh fish (in our case we had swordfish steak) was �24. A decent local beer cost around �2 a pint. I understand restarant were even cheaper the further north on the island you visited.

Sorry. Swordfish main course was �14 (�11 ish) and was very fresh and large.
