True Davvo & Expertcruiser makes sense too. You see we can only speak from personal experiences can't we.
I've been to Malta in November and had wonderful weather, I've also been for 2 weeks in January and only had two days rain, other days were quite warm and I went home with a good tan.
Help
I have been to Malta numerous times...I'm at present looking for a late deal in October. I have stayed previously in the Qawra Palace, the Seaview & Canifor Hotels also a couple of very cheap apartments that I booked independently on the net. I have had no problems with any of the afore mentioned hotels. You always get a few moaners wherever you go. Malta is a lovely isalnd & you should also visit Gozo. you can go there either on an organised trip (the ones arranged thu your rep can be very expensive) We just used the little independent one by the bus station in Bugibba. I usaually travel with my mum who's 64 & my son who is 7 so there is a wide range of ages.

Weird thread this..........full of Maltesers getting indignant at any criticism of Malta. Hard luck !!
IF MALTA WAS POPULAR there would be thousands of appraisals on here......genuine holidaymakers, at that.
The world is our oyster, worldwide travel is affordable to everyone and most tourists want to explore a variety of different places 2 or 3 times a year.
Old utility buses bumping over pot-holed roads is not to many people's liking: what use are 5 star hotels in dismal, uninteresting locations? Where are Malta's exotic birds ? or any bird for that matter ??? Where are the palm tree lined, white sand beaches? or any beach for that matter???
Malta will NEVER compare with the likes of Thailand, Sri Lanka, Florida, to name but a few.........and those places now cost only a little more than a cheap hotel in Malta.
Absolutely NO CONTEST.

Me and my sister were in Malta in July this year and had a fabulous holiday, the people were friendly, the hotel was beautiful and the weather couldnt have been any better.
We will definitely be going next year.

Hi all, I am new to this forum but have been posting on a regular basis on another forumwith well over 1000 informative postings to my name, but having got bored with that forum which seems to be going down the pan a bit I thought I might give this one a try, we have been to Malta 27 times so far so we are very well up on all that you guys might need to know and I even speak and write a lot in Maltese, if anyone has any questions or needs any help with Malta and Gozo then please ask as I am keen to get aquainted with this forum.

Hi Sliema2,
Fancy finding you posting here?
I'm also very new to this site though as Sliema2 will confirm I'm a definite Maltaphile! I've also been to Malta lots of times - about 15 in all and know these wonderful Islands quite well. I also used to post on another site and like Sliema2 if there's anything you would like to know about regarding Malta please ask,
Trev

Hi Sliema2,
It's looking like it's probably going to be towards the end of this year at the earliest. As you know we were there in december last year and february this year. If we go earlier will let you know.
Marsaxlokk is an area we know but not too well. I guess you're well acquainted with this area? Might try a DIY holiday this time though since we probably know the Islands better than the reps - some of who were probably not even born when we first went there!!!!
