Malta in February

We are senior citizens considering a 3/4 week holiday in February 2008 somewhere on the Island. After reading several forums, it all seems rather scary! Can anyone advise a really nice place to stay, somewhere that has a decent pool, ensuite rooms with a balcony and view. Would Sliema be a good place to stay? Would be grateful for some advice. Thanks.

Hi
We stayed at the Ramla Bay in June and are going back in May, if you just want a nice quiet time this is the place to go, it is very remote though.
If you do go here book a panoramic view.

I can help you find the right place to stay as I am maltese and in the weekends me and my family enjoy to go and have a drink and dinner in a hotel. The Coastline in Salini is a very clean beautiful hotel. The food is ecellent and the entertainment is really the best you can find. It is a 4 star hotel. This Christmas it was really fantastic dining there and the tourists were enjoying themselves indeed!!!! Hope you come and see our lovely island. Bye and Happy New Year 2008.

Malta is a beautiful place, I have been there twice and have toured the whole Island and Gozo as well, the people are so friendly, there are beautiful places to eat and drink. I really wouldn't worry about where to stay, Siliema is beautiful but so are many other areas. We are planning a trip in Feb too as my partner has never been but I know he will love it as much as I do.

You will thoroughly enjoy your stay, Happy New Year.
