| Hi
Just returned from Marmaris Club Happy Days (formerly Sarba 3) Armutalan - 3 couples from Lisburn. Great time - dont have a map but can give you an idea of location. About 10/15 mins (dependant on driver) from town centre by Dolmus route 2 (cost 1 new TL = about 40p). About 30/40 mins stroll but hardly worth it when transport so cheap and there are so many restaurants and shops along the way with plenty of hassle and some hairy road junctions to cross - pedestrian crossings are a joke. Hotel(s) about 250m off main drag so nearest Dolmus stop about 3 mins walk past about six bars/restaurants, barbers, supermarkets and trip shops so you get a bit of friendly hassle. Both hotel parts have their own small supermarkets and pool-side restaurants and bars. Found out on last day that the Turkish Delight factory is about 5 mins walk away up the main drag. If you have found any kind of map that shows the Amphitheatre - about 15 mins walk away. Nearest big hotel complexes are Julliene and Antique - about 10 mins walk towards Marmaris centre.
Hope this helps

| Hi there!
This is just a just a quick note to anyone who is a little unsure about Marmaris!
I am going to Club Happy Days in 4 weeks and 5 days and boy am I counting! It will be our 4th year! I've never stayed here but have stayed in the Club Julian which is in the same area! What can I say about the place!?! IT'S FANTASTIC!!!! It's one of those places where you can have as much fun as you possibly want! It's cheap and of course there are loads and loads of bars! :occasion1 :occasion1 Like someone said the holiday is what you make of it! I hope you all have a brilliant time cause I know that us 4 defiantly will!
Sarah!

| Not too sure if your back but we all got back yesterday and we hated it there! The only good thing about that place was Uncle Sam's Steak House just down the road! It was brilliant! We were 4 young (well between 26 and 36) and lets just say we weren't impressed! The music was so loud during the day that we had to go to the beach! Our rooms were disgusting and had to request them to be cleaned and to get clean towels! We stayed in the apartments side and apparently the hotel side was a lot better! I would never book with GoldTrail again!!
There was a little girl sick on the transfer back to the airport and she wouldn't even turn the light on when her grandmother was trying to clean her up! It just wasn't on!! :icon_grrs
