| Hi
Have just booked my first holiday to Turkey and i am a little aprehensive after reading some of the reviews. Some of them are great but there are some not so great. Can anyone give me good news about Club Portobello in Marmaris as I am taking my two kids

| Just come back from Club Portobello, and can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever had.
The rooms were ok, the bedding and towels were changed every other day, and the room cleaned everyday.
The staff at the Happybrothers restuarant are brilliant( say hi to casper, billy and gino/elvis), they are all very good with the kids(especially Casper, my 5 year old girl is in love with him lol).
When we went it was'nt that busy so it was just right.
They play games in the pool in the afternoon if there are enough people around which are great fun.
They do a mean chinese which I could have eaten everyday no problem.
If you go out of the hotel for your food, most places offer free kids meals.
If you go out the hotel turn left, follow road to lights and turn left there is a restuarant called the picadilly which is excellent, very good food, very good prices and somewhere for the kids to play round the back, and they have eastenders and corro on if your in to that lol.

| Hi, I too have booked a holiday to this hotel and am concerned due to the many negative reviews I have read.
However some people have rated it ten out of ten.
I think it depends on the individuals, everyone has different expectations, ideas and standards. I'll be happy as long as the apartment is clean!
I have booked a 1 bed garden apartment and i'm dreading the idea that me, my mum and two kids will be placed in the awful blocks.
I hoping the staff will re-locate the family to a better apartment if this is the case. My idea is to find out what block i'm in and state to them that i want a 2 bed apartment, hopefully some will be free, as people tend not to have any complaints who stayed in these.
I may see you around, im going this Friday.
