| I hear dthere is a Glasgow Rangers pub/club type thing in Marmaris, I was just wondering if there is, and where abouts. Im staying in Oasis which is pretty centre, so not to far out.

| Hi there...theres an ibrox bar just up the wee side lane at talk of the town. Bloody brilliant in there, they've got some minted cds :-)

| Slighty off topic...but it should make you laugh!
I used to DJ a couple of years ago and was doing a large wedding in Scotland when Celtic qualified for the Uefa Cup final a few years ago. Most of the men were in the TV lounge watching the game. Final whistle was blown with Celtic winning 1-0.
The men came through to the dance room and demanded We Are The Champions by Queen. No problem...stuck it on and the dance floor filled with just about everyone singing along...BRILLIANT!!!
Problem.....what do I put on next??
Now I am not into football in a big way and certainly not football that involves politics or religion.
So I put Tina Turner and Simply the Best on.
I was told in no certain terms to stop playing that track and move on...hehe
Personally I am grateful to be alive!!!

| Never seen a Rangers bar in Gumbet but you can catch games on Setanta in the Radio Pub (on Adnan Menderes Cadesi). Also, the staff in the bar/restaurant next door are Rangers lovers (cos of us).

| Turkish football supporters love Rangers ,i remember a few years ago when Tuguy played for the gers ,i was at glasgow airport waiting to fly out to turkey when i saw Tuguy i went over to him and as i was wearing a rangers top we stood and had a great old natter ,he was waiting for his personnal manager coming from london ,he shook my hand and signed my rangers news .The next day i was in the burger king next to tansas in marmaris ,again wearing a rangers top ,one of the young girls behind the counter started to shout rangers ,rangers do you know Tuguy ,i replied yes i know him very well ,he came to the airport last night to see me off on holiday ,well the place exploded he knows Tuguy ,he knows Tuguy they all shouted next minute the manager was out from behind the counter shaking my hand and refused to take my payment for the food ,before i new it the news was all over marmaris and every day of my holiday there was shouts of ,he knows tuguy ,he knows Tuguy ,i got free food ,drink ,football tops ,i felt like a king .

| I'm glad i will be taking my rovers shirt with tugay on the back, I also managed to buy a turkey shirt from ebay for £6 with tuguy, basturk and sukers autograph on it. I'm hoping to win the locals over.
