| I always take a small amount of turkish lira and the rest in sterling. I've just come back and the exchange rate was about 2.4 lira to the pound, If u can get it better in the uk i'd probably change it but everywhere i looked it was about 2.2.
I always change my money in a local restaurant or bar as they tend to give u a better rate as they get a better rate themsleves taking lira to the bank.
The weather's dead good at the mo. bout 30 degrees!!!

| some will accept pound coins but not everywhere!! (think this is what u mean lol) there's a hsbc cashpoint on the beach too where u can withdraw turkish lira and pound sterling which helps
I've only been back 3 days and want to go back to turkey already, hope you have a fab time!!

| haha yeah we've got 2 threads going, i didnt realise either lol
Yeah you'll need english sterling as most places wont accept scottish notes or Irish!! Do you know about the £10 entry visa too?? everyone has to pay £10 visa, it lasts for 3 months but it has to be english sterling again!! (most of the time they dont give change either so make sure u have right money)
