food and drink prices in marmaris

Hi im wondering if you can possibly give me a few examples of food and drink prices in marmaris as im going there next wee. are there any irish pubs there? how long does the transfers take from the airposrt thanks

Hi, we were there at the end of June - the transfer we had was a minibus and took around 1hr 45mins with a stop of around 10mins for refreshments/toilet break. Yes there are quite a few Irish pubs as well as loads of other pubs/clubs. The promenade is lined with pubs/restaurants and clubs. There is also the Marina area which has lots of really good food - all different types. Then there is Bar Street which has plenty clubs/bars and shops. You will not be bored here! Prices of drinks are about 2 lire for water, 3-4 lire for soft drinks, 3-5 lire for beer, 6-7 lire for local spirit and mixer and 7-10 for cocktails. A lot of the pubs also do "fishbowls" which are large enough for 4-6 people to share! The local rate of exchange is around 2.30. Don't change money at the airport as they only give 2. There are lots of ATM's and you get a good rate from these. Remember to have an English �10 note per person to purchase visa on arrival. Enjoy!
