| Hi,
Were are hoping to go to Marmaris in the first 2 weeks of august, we have been quoted 3 prices and hotels, has anyone been to these hotels? what are they like truthfully? clean,prices, close to restaurants,bars,beach etc.

Also what travel companies hs people used, we just went to our local one and had prices ranging between 820-980 for 2 adults 2 weeks, just had a thought not sure if you are allowed to name the companies on here!
Also how much spending money for 2 adults 2 weeks? never been to turkey before so unsure of prices etc
any help appreciated, ive spent hours on the web trying to find info

| most hotel are basic but clean in turkey. For fews if there not on here try trip advisor.
Also trying looking at website to get prices, try xl.com h4u and goldtrail who do good deals to turkey. Your travelling in school holiday so it will be harder to get amazing deals.
I went to marmaris 10yrs ago and we could'nt spend our money it was so cheap but i know this is not the case now, marmaris is a lot more popular than i went as like most places they increase the prices. I do find its still good value and the food is very cheap.
Theres loads of marmaris experts on here who will help you out with any questions its a friendly site with lots of turkey fans like myself.

| if u r looking for good quality hotel and alinclusive dont touch anything under a 4-5 star 3 stars are very basic and u will be very disapointed .....theres so bad hotels out there ,,,,,,

| hi we went to the club alpina hotel marmaris just next to the water park it was lovely self catering really clean staff brillilant and not far from the main town a local bus away stops right next to the hotel 1 lira i made the mistake of taken euros but they pref lira brillilant markets two of them loads of shops bars eating out beach lovely and the boat trip is a must we got a week in october flilghts with thomas cook for 190 pound so brill price i know its not all incl but lovely hotel for the money hope this helps

You shouldn't be paying more than £500, any more and your'e being ripped off, I have a lot of freinds in marmaris and can point you in the right direction for the best food in turkey and the best entertainment.
I have been going to turkey for 15 years and I have a lot of experience with the turkish people.
You should go 2 or 3 * basic but clean and you will get more for your money eating out.
Give me a bell as I'm very slow at typing and I'm gettung cramp.
