Were seriously considering Mauritius for our honeymoon in a 2010 (were planning early.) We were looking at possibly the north coast middle of May. Can anyone tell me what the climate would be? I've been told theres a strong chance that the weather would be a let down, is that right?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there, right now the weather is boiling hot, the temperature is up to 24 to 26 degrees. And thats winter as well, it should not be a let down, you mite get a bit of wind on the coast but the north coast is most of the time finr and the best place to go and ist hotter as well , trust me on that one im from mauritius.
hope you find a nice spot, and u have a nice time

hi t_proberts,
month of may would be fine.as a matter of fact any month of the year would be fine, especially in the northern part of the island. I have had countless honeymooners who have spent fantastic time in my luxury villa in the north of the island.even if you do not choose my villa i suggest you spend your honeymoon in mauritius which will be an everlasting experience.
should you choose my villa please visit www.pendenevilla.com which will give you an idea of what is on offer.
good luck,
wendy lloyd-jones.
