Mauritius (South west?)

We have been to the Maldives and are now looking to go to Mauritius in the search of paradise packed with all water sports, including surfing. We are looking to go to somewhere around the, 'Le Morne Peninsula', as this looks to be in the centre of a large, interesting shelf of reef and also close to some of the surf breaks. Has anyone been to this southwest area of Mauritius and if so have you any comments or advice on hotels and costs? Which hotel would you recomend

We went to Mauritius last November to get married. We stayed in the Le Morne area at Hotel Les Pavillons. It was fantastic. I would definately recommend this hotel.
