Hiya,

We are Planning to get married in Mauritius in August. Has anybody out there who has done that and can give us some advice and maybe any recommendation on the cost of their Mauritius wedding package.

We have not decided on which operator to go with or where to stay. We are bringing a few relatives. I am worried about privacy - don't really want to become a tourist attraction during the ceremony!!

We are planning spent 10 days in Mauritius. Can anyone recommend us on any interesting places that we can visit.

Can anybody help?

wondered how the wedding plans are going i have decided to make a honest women of her in doors, well lets face it you can only take so much of the nagging!!!!
thought i might have got away with a quickie
down at local office and then off to watch the match on the afternoon while she does tea but no not her its mauritius, so she got the brochures and is looking for next year.
i am just worried about what is expected of
me, she said the local travel agent is very good would never book off internet again after what happened last year our holiday from hell.

Hiya, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a full wedding package from a travel agent, I've heard not so good reviews, travel agents not letting you know what date your wedding date is etc. If I was you i would book you holiday separate with a travel agent but make sure they are reputable. Then get a wedding co-ordinator from Mauritis. That way you can pick and chose exactly what you want for your wedding and I believe it is cheaper. We are getting married in Cyprus next month, we only booked flights as my parents live over there (that was a mare in itself - flights were wrong from what I thought was a reputable travel agent i.e ABTA registered) I've never had problems with booking on the net at all, I'm now very wary bout travel agents - but that's a different story.
congratulations and all the best with your plans xx
