Allocation on arrival

Hello! Im considering booking some holidays on august for a week which are Allocation on arrival 3 stars hotel. They give you the flight and then when you arrive to the destination, they tell were are you gonna be allocated. It is to costa brava. Does anybody have any idea about this??? opinions?? Thanks

I have just posted a review on H Top OLympic Calella. We booked our own flights through Ryan air, and booked allocation on arrival through sun4u, and were allocated this hotel 24 hours before we departed.

We read bad reviews about this hotel on variuos internet sites, and called sun4u to say we didnt want to go to this hotel. When we booked we were told that if we didnt like the sound of the hotel we were allocated on the day before, we should phone the office and they would ensure that we were moved. Well we phoned and they said they could not move us so we reluctantly decided to go and give it the benefit of the doubt. Sun4u told us that on arrival at the hotel, if it was unsatisfactory then we would definately be moved to another h top hotel in costa brava, but the reception said that this was lies and we would not be moved. The hotel was worse than we ever anticiapated.

If you book and are allocated this hotel. please dont go, read my review and you will see why. I have pictures of the room it was disgusting. You can hardly get in and out hotel for hoards of drunken teenagers. It was like club 18-30 but the worst type you can imagine.
I don't mind hotels with a bit of life, but this was completely differnet.
violence, filth everywhere, and quite frightening.

ive stayed at this hotel booked through Sun 4U and for the amount of money i paid its not that bad. You cant blame the company for you getting this hotel you did book an Allocated on Arrival and thats what you got!!
