I hear the beach at Blanes is better than Forcat and was wondering how far it is to walk there? WE've got two young kids (5 & 7).

Hvae had a look at Cal Forcat reviews and it would appear to take a steady 30 mins to walk, but also saw that you can get a bus, via Cuitadella.
Is this your first visit, have not been to Cala Forcat, we go to Cala N Bosch, this year will be 3rd in row, market in Cuitadella very good, on a couple times a week, lovely town to stroll round in evening, nice harbour area and good shops, if you go to Cuitadella, you buy your ticket to come back from the wooden hut, just by the stop back to Cala Forcat, you can't get the ticket on the bus and you can't get a return ticket, only singles, hope this helps.

You an walk from one to the other. Beaches are coves so not a promenade walk. Will take about 30 minutes stroll. I'm sure you'll notie it more than the kids!!

The bus goes to Cuitedella via both resorts as they join into one another and Cuitadella is further around the coast.

thanks for that. Think we'll take the bus!! I have stayed in Menorca before (Cala Blanca and Son Bou) and have visited Ciutadella once - v nice if i remember.
Forcat would not really be my choice but we need a Superfamily resort to keep the kids happy - if they're happy we can relax!!
Last year was the kids first time abroad (Portugal) and my son spent most of the day at the kids clubs so I'm hoping for the same again!!

it does depend where you are staying. We stayed at the Talayot and it was about 500 metres to the Cala n' Blanes beach, but if you are at the furthest end of Cala n' Forcat, near the Sea Club or something, it is quite a bit further. You can catch a bus or a mini-train though.
