You are about 1km from the centre of Es Castell at the Argamenon which is a nice hotel. There are loads of bars and restaurants there. Tapas bars Spanish restaurants ae plentiful. You will not be short of good eating places.
If you have to grab a taxi it will only be a few euros.
The bus service is regular into the centre of the capital Mahon although that is a hilly town. If you get in touch with the local Help the Aged before you get here they can probably arrange a wheelchair for you at very low cost. I dont know if you can get them on a website any where.

Thank you for your reply. We are really looking forward to our holiday. We won't need a wheelchair as such, but just the knowledge that we can pick up a taxi if needed.
