Cancun - Best Hotels + Best Time To Go?

hi. me and my bf are considering going to mexico next year but just wondering when the best time to go is and also the best hotels in cancun leave your views please it will be very helpful cheers x

You're best to avoid the hurricane season which is June-October with the worst weather usually September. December last year there was a lot of rain (I was there then!) The best time is probably Feb-May. Any of the Riu hotels are great - if you stay in Riu Cancun you can eat and drink in Riu Caribe and vice versa. If you stay in Riu Palace you can eat and drink in any. We found these hotels to be really clean and really good food. The Cancun and Palace are nearer the centre with all clubs and bars. It's a long flight but worth it as it's a great place for a holiday.

Hi its all according to what you want. We stayed at the Excellence Riviera which is just outside Cancun in June 2007 and it was fantastic. It does cater for couples and the age groups are from 20's to 70's mainly Americans with a few Canadians and Brits but is is not what I call the football shirt brigade if you get what I mean Have a look at Carbibbean Warehouse. co.uk as they have really good prices and are a lot cheaper than the normal sites
