we are going to mexico on honeymoon what is the duty free allowance for bringing ciggarettes and alcohol back to britian

As it is outside the EU it will be 200 cigs or 50 cigars or 250g tobacco, 2 litres still table wine, 1 litre spirits or 2 litres fortified wine, 60ml perfume, 250ml eau de toilette and �145 worth of all other goods including gifts and souvenirs. This is per adult.
The cigs cost about �11 per 200 in Cancun airport - the brands are mostly American in the main duty free shops but we did find some UK brands in a small shop at the gate area.
