RIU Caribe, Cancun weather and trips

Hi, going to RIU Caribe, Cancun 9th September for 2 weeks. Anyone been very recently who can say what hotel is like now. Can anyone tell me what September weather is like. I'm a bit concerned after reading some articles (didn't realise when I booked that it was hurricane season) doh !!

I would also like to hear from people who have been swimming with the dolphins and where you did it as I believe there are a couple of places this can be done.
