Jumeirah Beach is great for a break, been twice. Lots to see and do on site. Upgrade to premium leisure room for extra benefits. Go into the city at night, also try a creek cruise [bateaux dubai]. Enjoy!

I visited Dubai last October and stayed at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).
Although i've visited Dubai many times, i always found my stay to be somewhat unorganised, partly through the booking company and with the apartment itself.
However in October, i came across Oasis Rentals in a google search engine. The site hadnt been updated for sometime, however i pressed on. The locations of the apartments were fantastic. I chose a serviced apartment at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), which had the most amazing sea views. The apartment was within walking distance to Jumeirah Beach which was helpful.
I travelled on my own, and im planning on returning to Dubai this year. I've been offered a good deal on a serviced villa in Dubai. I would recommend those travelling to Dubai to take their time before booking. Dubai has many firms dealing with serviced apartments, although the sites look very good and full of information, but dont be fooled as most of them are rarely updated.
Oasis Rentals offer discounts on last minute bookings, and i would recommend visitors to take full benefit of these. You can visit them at http://www.oasis-rentals.com
