| Hi, have booked to go on a middle eastern cruise in April - just received the book of pre-bookable excursions and we definitely want to see the Pyramids and sphynx whilst close to Cairo; but don't really wish to take in other things as well to take up 10 hours of a filled guided tour. So, can anyone please tell me whether it is possible and safe to pick up tours when we arrive in Port Said which only take you to the Pyramids and Sphynx (and hopefully ignore the usual papyrus making factories etc). We are lucky enough to have already travelled down the Nile on a previous cruising holiday and so we have already seen wonderful sights there and now really only wish to enjoy the sights of the pyramids and Sphynx.
