I've been to the Indalo Hotel in Mojacar twice. Once in September and because we enjoyed it so much my husband and I went back the following May. It has a lovely garden at the side of the hotel and at the end there was a small playground for children. It is about 3 years since we went and I'm presuming the playground is still there, but the garden is ideal for children. I'm sure they had a smaller pool for children as well by the main pool.
The beach is just across the road and I'm sure your 3 year old won't get bored spending all day there! I think there'sa water park nearby as well, but we didn't go so I can't tell you where it is.
We found food the food was quite good and the hotel was very clean. The Indalo is situated at one end of Mojacar, streches for quite a way. Although we walked quite a distance we never managed to get to the other end (near Garucha) which is a lot quieter. The part in the middle has a lot going on, although there are lots of bars, restaurants and small shops near the Indalo.
The whole of Mojacar is uncommercialised compared to place like Benidorm and Benalmadena, but we like all 3 places for different reasons.
Get the bus from outside the hotel upto Mojacar village in the mountain- very pretty and unspoilt.
Weather in June will be very hot - I'm sure you'll have a good time
