I have just returned back from Morocco. I was in an amazing holiday. Fishing, cooking, surfing,....I flight to Tangier from London. It tooked 2h 40 mn. I took a taxi to a small beautiful fishing town with nice medina, very clea which remained me some places in Greece. after that i went with my friends i met there from canada to Chefchaouen, Fes the imperial city, Marakech, mountains, its really different and just amzing...we met moroccan people who are veru friendly everywhere we went, especially in the small towns and villages....nice organic food...chat...mintea...
I will tell you more about this culural travel. Many people dont know where to go to be honest. They spend lot of money but the holiday is not as benefic as they expect. Anyone can ask i will be her to help about going to Morocco. I know the country and the people and where to stay.
The best holidays in Morocco

Yes I like Morocco as well.
It is very friendly and a bit different
The only thing I didnt like about Morocco is that the shopkeepers would not leave you alone and once youve shown an interest in something they will "harress" you.
However I still like going back as I have done 2 times.
The 1st time I went it was to a place called Mdiq.
happy holidays

i know Mdiq. Its a small fishing town btween Tetouan Fnideq Ceuta.
its a nice place because its close to nice beaches...hotels...marina smir..kabila..but the town itself its ok. Go to Asilah.
About the shopkeepers they are all the same even in spain in malaga...
you have to be nice but firm. if you like something you go foe it if you like the price. you have to be friendly ofcourse they give you a price you bargain...and its normal. if you say i will visit you next time i have not got time they will let you go..its business...any way if you need more info let me know.
happy holiday too.

Hi
I am thinking of going to Morocco in August - with husband, 15 and 13 year old. Need a compromise of beach and sightseeing. Was thinking about booking an 'all inclusive' in Agadir, then spending a night or so in Marrakesh and, after a few days back in the resort, another in Casablanca. Anyone know how easy / much it costs to travel around from Agadir - or are there 'trips' available from the resort? Looking at flight prices / hotels in August a 'package seems to be the best value. Any suggestions gratefully received!!

HI!
I went to marrakech only last yr an di fell in love with the place! i wen tfor 2weeks an dtravelling around is no problem. TAxis are cheap an dso are the national buses wich ou will be better off using if you want to get to Casablanca etc whilst your there. Ive never gone on an 2all inclusive" package but in my view the food out there is so tasty an dso so cheap i think it would be cheaper to eat at local places, but if you have kids who may not like the food this could be a problem i guess!!
I stayed in The Medina Spa hotel in Marrakech and i found it paradise! Extremely helpful staff, very very clean and only 2minures taxi ride to centre square doe about 20dirams so v cheap! The pool is fantastic with chilled out low music and friendly pool staff who change your towels during the day so u have clean fesh ones every few hrs! Its also not very busy which i liked!
As far as travelling around im certain, from my own experience its alot cheaper to organise it when u get there, using tourist centre an dhotel, local advice!
Shout if u need any more info!

Hi, I was really pleased to read Kitkats review of the Medina and Spa as I am taking four of my family/friends for a weekend there in June. It is our first time in Marrakesh and I am organising the trip.I was beginning to get concerned as nearly all of the reviews I have read have been about the Atlas Medina and Spa Hotel, I wasn't sure if it was the same or a different hotel.
Do you recommend using the Spa in the hotel or going elsewhere to a Hammam?
Is the bar decent ( Am I right in thnking there is a Nightclub in the hotel , and if so, does this cause a problem with noise and do you recommend it - we are travelling with our mum who hopefully will be tucked up in bed with a good book!)
Any other advice would be wonderful, we are only there for a short time and want it to be perfect for everyone!
Many thanks
