Which airport?

Just looking at flights to NY and they land at a couple of different airports, Newark and JFK.

Which is better to land if we're then thinking of getting to Manhatten?

Hi, both airports have good connections to Manhattan. Taxis are $45 plus tolls/tip from JFK and $40 from EWR plus tolls/tip. These are on fixed rates but you have to make sure you get a properly licensed cab. Express Buses go from EWR for $14 and drop off at 3 stops in Manhattan. There is the PATH train which is really cheap but you have to get a bus to the station then subway to near your hotel so it takes longer. The Airtrain from JFK is $7 and then you connect to the subway. That's how much they were last time I was there last year. I would just go for the best deal with the flight as both airports are easily accessible.

Thanks for that Carol. I think we'll just get a taxi as it wil be door-to-door. A not a bad price really!
