How to an when to book balloon trip?

Hi,
We're going on a Nile cruise on board the Domina Prestige in 3 weeks time. Reading some reviews there seems to be a lot of difference in the prining of the balloon trips. I have two questions
1. Can anyone tell me how we go about booking a independent balloon trip we're planning t o do the trip on our last morning before coming home.
2. can we go back to the ship afterwards as we don't fly back to the UK until mid afternoon.

Hi,
Suggest that you try to book it through a local agent on your first evening in Luxor before you set sail. There are several travel agent's offices very close to the Old Winter Palace hotel. Karnak Travel and Jolley's are probably the most well known. The cost should be around 350LE pp maximum. Cost from your cruise ship will probably be double if not more!
