Hi All,
From a seasoned cruiser I wish you all happy cruising.
As far as trips are concerned, as you are mostly talking about 4 or more then your best bet for all trips, except ROME, is DIY by taxi or mini-bus. These are freely available just by ship or just outside dock gates. Cheapest ships tour is drop of at city center and DIY at 35 Euros.
For ROME do take a tour by ship the best one by far is the small mini-bus one, this is expensive, but does give you easy access to the sights including going to front of the queues, great time-saver, a good lunch and confortable transport.
Should you consider doing this on your own, be aware that you dock some hour plus from Rome, and must be back minimum 30 mins before sailing. Ship will not wait for late comers.
Taxi to station ticket to Rome (was 12 Euros) and a lot of walking will give you a taste of this great city.
Good Luck and enjoy cruising.

Hi All,
Please if you ask a question and get a reply could you say thanks,
I spend a lot of time answering cruise questions on HW and it is so upsetting when nobody thanks you.
Hope you all have a wonderful Cruise, let us know if you liked it on your return.

Hi carolyn and mike,
we too are grade dd. I think we will do the water park, sail and swim and the aquarium with ov, this should keep the children happy! any others we shall arrange ourselves. As our youngest is 3 yrs we don't want to be on a coach for to long!
5 weeks 5 days and counting.....
michelle, mick, michael, emily & erin

Hi Tenpin I agree with you when you say that you would like people to says thanks after you have tried to help them. I have mainly stopped for the same reason, some people need to learn some basic manners. I wonder if they are the people who are refered to as the "ugly brits." Regards Perthboy

hadn't realised anyone had asked any questions and received any help on this particular forum. But agree where help or advice has been given then a thankyou is appreciated. Perthboy you sound a little rude with your comment.
