Only 3 weeks to go now before I head to Olu Deniz and the Magic Tulip Hotel.....CANT WAIT!!!
Just wondering what the weather has been like recently. Is it likely to be extremely hot during the evenings as well as in the days or is there often a breeze?
Also, do resaurants have air-con etc.......
Thanks

Hi I stayed in hisaronu but visited olu. We paid about £35 for 2 courses and drinks but most places have set meals cheaper. Olu is a bit more expensive than Hisaronu.
The bars shut there doors at 12 o'clock and put on the air con, although it was that hot its wants where your sweating loads!!
I got some lira before i left and took rest in english but the rate was the same as home, I used the cash points and got charged £2 each time.
They dont tend to hassle you too much these days exceot the markets but do bather with them as a bag they wanted £25 for was bought by us for £10, as soon as you show them the money they cant resist.
Do got to Hisaronu for a night out and a meal, its on 10 mins bus ride and costs about a pound.
Take some good mozzie spray i got bite to death.
hope this helps

Hi I would say turkey is prob one of only place I'd walk alon at night and feel safe, the turks are very friendly and love children.
The cost of drinks is about 350 for large beer 500 for wine spirts and cocktails around 8-10.
There plaenty of resturants some even do mixed like chinese indian and mexican, also in olu there is a Thai and sushi place.
Do try the turkish food its lovely.
We spent around £1200 for 2 weeks 2 adults, that included eating every meal out and trips and bag, tshirts dvd and gifts.
Our hotel was a lot cheaper for food and drinks than going out but I have heard thats not always the case.
Any more help just shout!

yes did visit it, its very hot in the day time, the night they have another beach witch they put giant bean bag chairs down and you can watch the sun sets its fab.
we went on a boat trip which was good all day including bbq dinner was £10. also visited the Yaka park and Saklikent which were great days out. Theres is loads to do but we didnt do too many with the heat. There are many travel agents about who will book and give you advice but shop around as there so bargins to be had.

Also visit the hisaronu market on monday for some good buys go early morning or late afternoon when not so hot.
