| Has anyone flown longhaul with thomsons before from Gatwick.
Are the soft drinks/water free - I presume you cant take drinks on still.
If our flight is at 9.30 roughly what time will our desk open - we have to drop our daughter off at south terminal first for her flight to cyprus.
Not done long haul for a good few years any help would be appreciated.

| I believe you have to pay for them now except on scheduled carriers or if you upgrade. Open to correction on that though.
Check in normally opens around 3hrs before departure. Only advice i can give you is take frequent walks around the cabin and relax. Also drink plenty of water as flying dehydrates the body rather quickly.

| Not flown Thomsons to Orlando but have just flown with First Choice and we had to buy all our soft drinks. Once you are threw security and air side you can buy drinks to take on the plane, I always buy bottles of water, and then stand cross legged in the line for the toilets on the plane -lol

| I actually flwe from Gatwicjk to NYC last year with Thomson, and we got water whenever we asked for it. It's definitely important to keep well hydrated on flying such long distances, even though it means going to the toilet more often! Have fun :D
