| We visited mystic dunes for 8 nights over the easter period, it was recommended by a friend. The accomodation was spotless and we were very pleased with the two bed luxury condo/apartment. However the overall service was absolutely appalling and was not the 5 star resort it claimed to be. The entrance to the resort , pool , golf course were all fantastic, but this we agreed with our friends and other guests was all superficial. If you are using the resort purely as a base for Disney and other attractions you will probably like it, but the overall service was poor and unfriendly (apart from two managers in Kenzies bar) so much so we had approxiamately $650.00 credited back to us for a variety of misdemeanors. We spent the next week in the Hilton on Longboat key and it was fantastic. Mystic dunes is not befitting of 5 star service. Hope this helps.

| We didnt want to be moved, as I said the room was fantastic, the problem was the overall management in the resort. Good location though, and if you do play golf its a fantastic course (if a bit pricey). Try the PONDOROSA STEAKHOUSE at the top of the road for breakfast its excellent. For designer shopping go to Millenium mall,
for outlet designer shopping go to Prime outlets.
If you have never been to the gulf coast, I strongly recommend it ie.
Sarasota, Anna maria,Longboat key and further south Naples.
Enjoy!!

| I had went there for a presentation, and sure the place was nice, think about how un-safe it is for children. In the rooms are glass tables, with mirrors in everyroom, ceiling high. The chairs are metal, and the floor are tile. They say that this is a family oriented place to stay, I say they are wrong.
I had told this to the prenentation man who was helping us, and I he had said he had heard a lot of things but this is not one of them. He had told me that I was lying and that it couldn't be possible. He said I was just saying that to not make him feel bad, when that was not my purpose. However, it should make him feel bad since he was the one working for a place like this.
They brag about how big they're golf course is and how wonderful they're rooms are, but they're rooms are dangerous, and whats more, its like you are living on the course! I would feel scared to sit byt he window, afraid that a ball might come flyinging in to hit me square on the face!
I also think it is a hastle to just get to the entrance, this way and that, its like a maze.
The man who had helped me also said that they're goal is to make sure that your stay would be spectacular, and that everyone goes on vacation to have fun and relax. Relaxing is true, but why would you go on vacation just to stay at a resort. I went to Orlando to go to the amusement parks and to see the sights, not to sit in my room the whole day, everyday.
When I had declined the man, I went to the gift area, and the woman was so RUDE! I have never been so ill treated in my life.

| The rooms are not dangerous at all. Sure there is a glass table in the dining area and yes there are mirrors in the bathroom, but what are your children going to do, smash them?
As far has getting hit in the face by a golf ball, you have more chance of being struck by lightning. You want to be careful of the Jacuzzi, there's water in it, you might drown.
Grow up!!!!

| I agree when i declined their offer of timeshare (purely because of the desperation of the sales lady to sell there and then) they became very rude indeed .i still laugh at her catchphase "how much can you save" There was something not quite right about the place
