| Hi all- just registered and I'm off to Hotel Vistanova in Magaluf/ Palma Nova in 4 weeks (13th July)- just wondered if nay1 out there had been and if so, could tell me what the hotel is like and where exactly it is. Going with my b/f and we last went 2 Magaluf summer 2002 stayed in Hotel Samos which is nice...thing is, we thought this hotel was in Palma Nova (I know that it's basically all 1 big resort now anyway), but apparantly is moe like bang smack in centre of Magaluf?! Doesn't really matter just wondered about the hotel itself and the food/ cleanliness etc! Any answers appreciated x :alien:

| went in june 2002, six adults had a great time in magaluf,the street below is very noisy because its one of the main strips in resort,so lots of noise if you are given a room overlooking this(noise stops at approx 5.00am) were told this hotel is for adults only but some holiday companies let you book with kids.The food was brill,great desserts.hotel staff were very nice,happy hour in bar in afternoon,bar at bottom of alley ajoining hotel called poco locos,cheap cocktails bogof,great music, to round off,hotel was nice if you get a room on top of reception overlooking hotel entrance,great location,not too far to stagger home,close to beach,close too shops,hope all this helps

| 2 weeks and counting!!! thanks for letting us know what its like, just another Q, are the rooms as small as every1 makes out?and what is the pool like?? thankyou!! :bounce:

| the rooms are big enough! hopefully you wont be in them for too long,what with the great beaches and brill nightlife, The pool is fine, nothing special,but around it can get busy mid afternoon.remember your meal passes when going in restaurant or they wont let you in and its frustrating to after fetch it.hope this helps! REMEMBER ITS AWHILE SINCE I STAYED THERE AND SUM THINGS COULD CHANGE
