Single Holiday far far away

I am planning to go on a holiday by myself .. by myself mainly because I am indeed single but tired to do just "local" trips

Anyway, I am interested in India and Thailand and was wondering if someone has a suggestion what the best place is to go in April (two weeks).

I don't really want a city break but rather some nice beach holiday, nice hotel with pools but still the possibility to have some fun in nightlife ...

Any help / suggestions is appreciated ..
