| hiya folks,we've just booked our very first holiday abroad and i'm sooooooo excited,but i know it sounds sooooooo silly but keep thinking about the family who loost there 2 young children a couple of years ago to carbon monoxide, i know i'm being silly but with never ever been there before i was just wondering if they have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in thr rooms,as they do when we have caravan holidays in th uk,i know i'm being silly but just keep mithering as this is our very first time, were staying at caledonia park aparthotel in playa da las amercas,sorry for being a pain.x

| These are very very isolated incidents and the majority of places now comply to all the legalities, mainly spain which is very high in terms of legislation and the like.
No need to be worried, you'll enjoy it.

| hi bikini,you dont have any worries at all because the hotel industry in tenerife only use electricity for cooking and hot water in rooms and apartments,there is no gas in the rooms at all.
