4-5 star hotel Algarve

Hi, we're looking for a really nice 4-5 star hotel in Algarve for a couple + 8 year old. Struggling to find a nice one with entertainment for the child such as Kids Club? Can anyone recommend one - we have looked at Riu Palace but again not sure with the child! Has anyone been there recently?
