WEATHER IN MAY

Would it be warm enough to lie on the beach and sunbathe, or its it a bit early still? Thank you.

Well I went to Madeira Portugal in May and it WAS warm enough to sunbathe - I expect you want to know about mainland Portugal though.

I have been to the Algarve a few times in May and it was mostly sunny but with a cool breeze, so if you get a sheltered spot it's lovely for sunbathing. It depends on when in May you were thinking of as I noticed quite a difference in temperature between the beginning and end of the month when on holiday there. It's a lovely area - enjoy.
